Rawai Muay Thai Camp
The Short Version
Rawai Muay Thai Camp has been established as a Muay Thai
boxing gym since the 1990's.
We have on average 10 - 15 Muay Thai fighters living &
training @ the gym every month.
Our Muay Thai Fighters train 6 hours a day, 6 days a week,
@ age of 18 most of them have had 50+ Pro fights.
In 2003 Rawai Muay Thai Camp opened its doors to foreign students
that wanted to experience Muay Thai Boxing & Fitness Training
in High Humidity of the Tropics.
We have on average 20 - 30 foreign students living & training
@ the gym every month.
Most people stay between 1 & 6 months, we always have
a multi cultural mix of male & female students that speak
a verity of languages such as French, Spanish, English &
Thai. Our trainers @ Rawai Muay Thai Camp all speak &
understand English language & the management @ the gym
(Diana) speaks all the above languages fluently so communication
is never an issue @ Rawai Muay Thai Camp.
@ Rawai Muay Thai Camp Personal trainers are available 6 hours
a day for "One on One" Muay Thai & Fitness training.
You will learn more in one month training @ Rawai Muay Thai
Camp than you would in 1 year of training in most other countries
around the world.
We can have a complete beginner reach basic competition level
in 8 - 12 weeks of training @ Rawai Muay Thai Camp, males
/ females / children / families / complete beginners / are
all welcome @ Rawai Muay Thai Camp.
Everyone @ the gym is given equal amount of attention from
the trainers regardless of their sex, age or martial arts
skill level. Most foreign students travel to Rawai Muay Thai
Camp on their own, Everyone @ the gym is very sociable &
new friends are made quickly @ Rawai Muay Thai Camp
You don't have to be a martial arts specialist or a Kick Ass
fighting junkie to come to Rawai Muay Thai Camp. Many of our
students come here for fitness, motivation, weight loss, learn
self defense, lose bad habits such as smoking & a variety
of other reasons.

boxing skills up to speed and looking like a good fighter
in less than 8 weeks of training @ Rawai Muay Thai Camp.

if you are considering competing in a fight then coming to
Thailand for pre fight training will improve performance,
fitness, stamina, technique and your over all chances of winning
the fight in good style.
MMA fighters
Training in Thailand with our experienced Muay Thai fighters
is the fastest way to improve your striking & stand up fighting
skills, Grappling & Clinching is a big part of Muay Thai
Boxing so you will get to learn some new tricks to incorporate
into your stand up fighting skills.
Their are always other MMA students training in the gym, most
of our MMA students & Muay Thai fighters love to mix it
up with some MMA & Muay Thai Boxing mixed training sessions.
For MMA students to learn stand up fighting skills from our
Muay Thai Fighters, in less than a month Striking will be
your strength rather than a weakness.
Training 6 hours a day is not as hard as it sounds.
You run for 30 - 60 minutes in the mornings, then you do an
hour of one-on-one training in the gym with your personal
trainer, 30 minutes of post training stretching and you have
already completed 2 - 3 hours of training.
@ 4 PM you are back in the gym for another
2 hours of kicking & punching pads
with your personal trainer.
Weight training, stretching, Yoga, kicking on the heavy bags,
swimming, skipping or go for another run.
If you are living at the gym bungalows you get to exercise
when ever you desire.
Many of our students do a third training session (low Cardio
work out) between 10 pm - 11pm (weight training, stretching
& shadow boxing)
In the first week most new Muay Thai students usually can
only do 2 - 3 hours of training a day.
By the second week their fitness levels & stamina has
improved and 4 hours of training a day becomes easier to achieve.
By the 3rd week most people can train 5+ hours a day.
The ideal length of time to be training Muay Thai in Thailand
is 1 - 3 months.
The first 3 weeks you are building on your fitness, stamina
& technique.
In the second month your fitness is up to speed and looking
like a Pro fighter, your loss of body fat is noticeable and
you are mentally on an extreme high.
At the end of your 3rd month your fitness is peaking and you
will be keen to go home to impress your friends & family
with your fitness level & Muay Thai boxing technique.
When you return home to your usual training gym, you then
realize how much you have improved in fitness and Muay Thai
boxing technique.
Most students return to Rawai Muay Thai Camp
within a year of their first visit.

Oxygen Therapy
Oxygen Therapy is available @ the Gym to speed up recovery
between work outs... What is oxygen Therapy ?
The composition of the air we breathe is 75% nitrogen (n2),
21% oxygen (o2), and 4% of other gases such as carbon monoxide
(co2.)
Oxygen Therapy increases the amount pure oxygen you breathe
to 85 - 95%.
Oxygen Therapy provides a concentrated volume of oxygen to your
blood allowing your body to repair damaged muscle tissue &
recover form intense training & muscle fatigue much quicker.
Oxygen Therapy is a trend that started in the late 1990s.
Patrons inhale 80-95% filteredoxygen for 10 to 30 minutes
before or after intense training sessions.
The oxygen is quickly absorbed into the blood & a feeling
of well being, increased energy, strength & stamina can
be felt with in minutes of inhaling the concentrated volume
of Oxygen (o2).
It is like putting high performance racing fuel into a your
family car, your body is fueled with high % of concentrated
oxygen to help your muscles recover quicker & sustain
longer & more intense work outs.
Oxygen therapy can be done before, during and/or after exercise,
Oxygen Therapy is recommended for days when you are feeling
fatigued, tired & run down.
Pro Athletes use Oxygen Therapy to reduce lactose acid in
their muscles.
Lactose acid is caused from from lack our oxygen supplied to
your muscles during intense training sessions & from over
training, lactose acid is the Burn you feel in your muscles
when you are pushing heavy loads on your muscles.
If lactose acid not removed your muscles will fatigue much
quicker & reduce your energy levels and stamina rapidly.
Oxygen supplied to your muscles will help reduce the lactose
acid build up in your muscles & allow you to suatain &
perform on a much higher level.
